The Indian Scout & Guide Fellowship is a voluntary, non-political, social service organisation of adults who were once scouts or guides in their young days or those who have been leaders in the active movement or those who would wish to support the active movement with their resources or spirit of service. Through this Fellowship, what you gained in your young days in scouting & guiding movement, you can share and give back to the movement through their professional expertise, supporting materially, financially & providing service to the community and the country with the scout-guide spirit.
The Fellowship was established in 1959 and is affiliated to the International Scout & Guide Fellowship having its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The International Fellowship has member organisations in 54 countries of the world. The Indian Fellowship has branches and district units, like the Greater Mumbai Unit, in many states of India.
The Fellowship maintains close links at all levels with the active movement and keeps rapport with the National Headquarters of the Bharat Scouts & Guides and its state and district branches through India.
The Fellowship also organises seminars and symposiums on subjects of national importance, organisational excellence and personal development.
As a member of the Greater Mumbai Unit, you can choose to work hand-in-hand with scouts, guides & other fellow members and help to organise service activities on special days & occassions. These activities are meant to serve the community as well as young boys and girls.
The ISGF Greater Mumbai Unit invites you to link yourself with the world fraternity of scouting and guiding through the Fellowship and share the pleasure of working and living together with the scout & guide spirit. Contact us to join now!
The Fellowship is a registered charitable organisation.
